The technology enables rapid prototyping of vehicle tires through precise laser material processing. In this process, individual profiles and designs are laser-generated into tires with a smooth tread and neutral sidewall. The process replaces the time-consuming manual carving of tires and thus significantly reduces development cycles and prototyping costs in tire development.
The laser ablation technology developed by Jenoptik answers a key trend in the tire industry. With an increasing product diversity and shorter product development cycles, the production of design samples and pre-production tires is essential.

Lakeside was recently excited to announce the opening of a new service center and office located at 131 Fielding Road, Lively, Ontario, (705)-585-4900. With this new space Lakeside will be able to focus on localized service for more efficient turnaround, and even quicker response times.
The Service Center is 4235 sq/ft, with an additional 2000 sq/ft of storage space on site. Lakeside have also relocated their sales office to this same site in order to centralize Lakeside’s service and support to one location. At this new service and assembly center, they will hold an inventory of Clarkson knife gate valves (KGV) for new and ENCORE assemblies.

In the life sciences industry, quality is everything. But batch record review is a painstaking process if your company relies on exhaustive paper records – or a combination of paper and electronic records.
Large quality teams must comb through batch records to confirm good documentation practices (GDP) and initiate incident investigations when deviations are uncovered. And because a myriad of issues can impact quality, following the paper trail to reach resolution can take weeks. Meanwhile, quarantined product waits for release, delaying availability to patients.
DEPLOYING YOUR ROBOTIC CELL
Let’s start by looking at the complete robotic cell deployment cycle, as shown in Fig. 13.

When you decide to deploy a robotic cell, it’s usually because you’re aiming to solve some issues in your company regarding productivity, quality, or output capacity.
